Minecraft fortresses

I had an idea for fortresses in minecraft. These are for any Capture the flag or Team death match game.

Grade 0: Scavenged outpost
This fort (If it even qualifies for that name) is made of sandstone or dirt. It is only made in emergencies, but is easy and quick to cobble together. This is generally only used as a last resort base.

Grade 1: Vanguard
This fortification can be used for defending an area. It can also be made in only a few minutes, but costs more than a grade 0 fort. This can be made from wood of every type.

School's out (Again) and some news about Halo Reach

So, like the title says, I don't have to go to school anymore until next year. That means I will try to get in at least a weekly blog post. To celebrate, my friends and I made a bit of a town on a Halo reach forge map. I run a factory that manufactures rifles (DMR) and sniper rifles. My friend Sean (Pronounced Shawn) runs a nuclear power plant brimming with hazards like killspheres. My friend Burnan built a car dealership with mongoose and warthog trucks. We had a great time.

A pokémon theory: Cubone is a charmander

So, like you probably noticed from the title, I am a pokémon fan. I have read the comics, watched the show, and even listened to the crazy theories. My theory is that cubone is actually a charmander. Apparently cubone is supposed to be a baby khengaskhan that lost it's mother and wears it's mother's skull and wields a bone for protection. (Weird and creepy!) However, I think that it is actually a CHARMANDER that lost it's mother in some accident, and I have proof why. Firstly, the charmander and cubone models look very similar, but the baby khenghaskhan is different. Here are what they look like...
File:104Cubone.png
CharmanderFile:GoodBabyKanga.png

Notice how similar the color is. Also, they both weigh almost the same (Charmander is bigger) and are almost the same height. Also, the skull looks like a charizard skull, but not anything like a khenghaskhan skull. What is possible is that cubone was a baby charmander that died alongside it's mother (Charizard) and was somehow resurrected. Thus, it's fire went out, explaining the lack of fire moves. Rising from the dead also explains it's morbid fascination with bones.

FAQ: Responses in italics.
Q: But furnace! Its undead, it should be ghost type!
A: Shadow ball is ghost type. Shadows imply darkness. Derp it should be dark type.

Q: But furnace! Marowak isn't a charizard!
A: Cubone adapted to a new fighting style. By the time it evolves it's too different from charmander.

Q: But furnace! It's part of the story that team rocket kills kanghaskan!
A: Team rocket cannot get rid of a ten year old who owns a charizard but keeps it in a box, instead using a pikachu too stupid to take a thunder stone and evolve.

Island Escape Tutorial part 1!

Island Escape is a game on kongregate (The site with War of the web). Basically, you spawn on an island and do quests and stuff to get off the island! I have made a step list to win the game, and the link to the game is at the bottom.

1. You spawn in. You have nothing, but you can see a table with a knife and a big coin. Walk over using the WASD keys and the mouse to look around and press E to take the two items.

2. Press I to open your inventory and click the knife. This will move it into your hand so you can use it.

3. Walk to the door and leave.

4. You will see a guy in a garage with two crates. Talk to him with E and click "Is there something I can help you with?". Then exit out of chat and open the crates.

5. In the crates you get more money and a pistol with ammo! Click loot all and leave.

6. Open your inventory and click the gun to equip it. Press 1,2,3,4 to cycle with your primary, secondary, and melee weapons. You do not have a primary weapon yet.

7: Ignore the road for now and climb the nearby hill.

8. You will see a weird giant legless headcrab. Click 2 and click to shoot it!

9. If you kill it (It stops moving and turns pink) walk over to it and press E. You will bring up a screen like the one on the crates.

10: Click loot all.

11: You will see an uninhabited house. Inside is a chest. Loot the chest and snag a shotgun and shells, but do not use them yet. Hang on to them for a bit.

12: Climb back over the hill and go on the road.

13: If you see anymore headcrabs far away, aim your pistol at them and press rightmousebutton to aim at them. Fire from afar to kill them, then take the loot from them.

14: If you see anything that is distinctly nonhuman, kill it. There are no friendlies exept for the townsfolk and the turret gun in town.

15:Keep going until you see a gray rectangle thing with a gun on it's head. These are hostile, so attack them from afar with your pistol.

16:When you see a town, go over to it. If you see any guys like the one in the garage, talk to them and get quests.

17: Two guys in town sell tools and weapons. Take the quests but do not buy anything just yet.

18: The turret in the town center attacks the monsters, so you are safe there.

19: If you see anything that looks like the townsfolk but has a red headband, attack them. They are hostile.

20. One quest in the town is that you need to get cubes for him. Go to the shop and buy 5, they are cheap but he pays you quite a bit.

21: At the far edge of town, there is a rock. Go over to it, there is a sword stuck in it or lying nearby.

22. Take the sword and replace the knife. Then sell your knife in the shop for some money.

23: Buy some spheres and then get in the car near the house. You should have a quest to talk to someone, so just drive in the direction facing away from the entrance of the general store.

24: Drive up the mountain. Ignore every monster because if you ram them, they will die.

25. You will see a house. Park outside and talk to him, then give him the spheres for a nice sum. Then drive back to town to talk to the person that gave you the quest.

I have a rocketship!

Hi everyone! I made a homemade model rocket ship out of scrap parts. The USS Luck of the draw is a small rocketship I will launch in my backyard so that I can test how clean the air is. It has a small tab of tape on the back to collect dust. The more dust, the dirtier the air!
This is the USS Luck of the draw. It is made out of paper, plastic, scrap rocket parts, and duct tape. Mostly duct tape though.
Here you can see the name of my craft. The paper wings are most likely to burn up, but oh well. For science. *Halfhearted cheer*
I lost one of the three struts on the launcher platform. Here is my irresponsible  way of fixing that. I used a piece of wood (Stupid, stupid, stupid!) and my Swiss army knife.

A suggestion for minecraft

I always have enjoyed creating cool houses. I sometimes think that the current bed looks odd in some areas, and I know some worlds have no early access to trees (Like a survival island). So, I thought of a nice way to design a new bed, using haystacks and wheat instead of wood.
The Hay Bed!

The hay bed is exactly the same as a bed. It’s just a retexture.
But I didn’t stop there. I thought of more ways to decorate houses all over minecraftia!

Crates are fully functional storage devices to be used instead of chests.
Crates are designed to be used like chests. Each crate costs a TINY bit less than a normal chest because of the sticks, but the change is negligible. Crates work exactly like chests, but for two features.
One, crates can be placed next to each other. They store as much as a normal chest, but can be placed side by side and stacked. There are no double crates.
