Recently I bought a new game on steam. It's called Space Engineers, and it is all about making Spaceships. I made a couple of cool things. I chose the "Lone Survivor" starting area. It only had the basics I needed to survive and nothing more. That was OK with me, I figured I would be fine. The first few days went great. I collected ore, made parts, and basically was awesome. I soon started work on my first spaceship. She was called The Narwhal. Equipped with two drills, state of the art nuclear reactors, and a powerful gyroscope, I was quickly able to fire up my engines and get into space. I went out for a test run in the Narwhal, and I collected several hundred units of nickel. However, my storage was soon filled, so I headed back to home base.
That's when things started to go wrong.
Suddenly, an asteroid appeared in my peripheral vision. I slammed on the brakes and tried to get out of it's way, but I was already too close. I was killed on impact. I quickly respawned at my base, only to see a horrific scene. In the distance, there was the asteroid I had hit, with bits of the Narwhal still stuck in it. It had been propelled when I hit it.
Spinning.
Twisting.
Ripping through the empty space.
In the exact direction of my base.
I was killed again, with my only base in ruins.
10/10 Would space engineer again!
